A collection of texts on Czech history and Czech philosophy. This volume contains the unfinished manuscript Who are the Czechs, in which the author contemplates about the meaning of Czech history, as well as lectures on “the contribution of the Czech lands to the modern scientific ideal” given in the 1960’s in Louvain, and a text on Masaryk’s involvement in the Leopold Hilsner affair. The volume was edited by K. Palek and I. Chvatík.
